Update From Matt

Crys Gorman post surgery update: This morning Crys went in for what we hope is a final reconstruction surgery. The surgery was at 7am – UGH! The doctor came out at about 9:30am to say that all had gone well and that she was in recovery. When I was called back to recovery she was in a bit of a daze from the anesthesia along with some nausea from…

Surgery This Week

If you are awake, this Thursday I’ll be having surgery at 7am and would love your prayers! I’m looking forward to it in a weird way because it’s the last big step in the reconstruction process! It’s getting rid of the wonderfully comfortable temporary situation I’ve got going on and finally replacing it with the long-term implants…you…

Today’s Results

I personally don’t feel this way, but I get it, because no one feels strong during this season. That’s why you find silly things like Wonder Woman themes to help remind you of it. You know how many times I actually…

Surprise! (The Good Kind)

I’ve become a bit wary of surprises during this season, particularly the ones that come at the doctor’s office. But today brought a good kind of surprise! I went to my radiation appointment this afternoon and met with the doc, as I’ve done every day for the last 6 weeks. During that appointment she surprised us by saying…I’m done! 2 treatments early! She said…
